On 4:00 PM Jan 25th, a handsome man in his 30’s walked into my office, Hu-Cares Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. He introduced himself as Wayne Tigges (http://www.waynetigges.com/ ), an opera singer. He was scheduled as the lead performer in “Don Giovanni” at the OC Performing Arts Center only 3 hours away. But he was very sick and lost some of his voice. Tickets were sold out, and without help he would have to cancel his performing that night.

I sat Wayne down and did the examination. Both of Wayne’s tonsils were swollen, he reported chest pain, and he had a severe, phlegm filled cough while he had been taking antibiotics and other medicines for days, but they helped little. Could I help him with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs?
